I hope they are building in very large storage batteries. As I recall there are lots of cloudy days there.

    Proposed new building Gas Street

Exactly, but until there is some accountability nothing is going to change! In business when we finish particularly large ones (and we are paying) we conduct a post audit: were we over or under budget, did we get the results expected, in the t8me we expected. What went right, what went wrong. We...

    Proposed new building Gas Street

My thoughts exactly and most likely there will be no accountability! Then the residents will get the bill. Sounds like a project in NYC, Chicago or Boston!

    May & Co Engine Maker

That is exciting to see so many ships utilizing the spherical engines in one year, so long ago. Having spent most of my life trying to come up with ideas and better ways to do things, the first time out is the most difficult. That’s what Birmingham factories did. In part because Britain was...

    May & Co Engine Maker

A little off topic but looking at Mikes map, you can see SO many companies that have or are developing businesses with technology (probably did not use that term then) that would help propel innovation to new levels. Worst car of the 1960's

Fully agree and understand...........I watched albeit from a distance. As you said the brands were simply shoved together and rebadging can only take you so far. I have followed the UK market and worked closely in the US market for 50 years with companies like BMW, MB, Ford, Honda, Toyota...

    Gaumont cinema

I used to see a young lady that worked at Lewis’s and frequently we would go to the Gaumont on a Saturday evening. The last time I went there was a few days before I emigrated in 1962 to see The Longest Day.
