    Walsall Road

I was born in a house in that stretch of the Walsall Road, it was my Nan's house where my parents were living until we got our own house in Glendower Road not far away.

    St John's Church Perry Barr

Yes, I remember that path. When I belonged to the St John's Brownies I used that as a short cut from the Walsall Road which saved me walking up to the start of Church Road.

    Memories of John “Ozzy” Osbourne

Yes, I saw it a few days ago, love it! I sent it to my sister who lives in South Germany (our Dad was a lifelong Villa supporter) and she said yes, she had already seen it, it was shown on their TV!!

    Handsworth Golf Club

I know the Golf Course, when I lived off Friary Road in Handsworth Wood I sometimes used to walk onto the fields at the end of Silvercroft Avenue where you could walk right across to Sandwell Valley Park, passing the Golf Course.

Something I've noticed since yesterday is that I'm not getting any notifications in my email for threads I have posted in. I've been having to look in the What's New section.

Prefab in Church Road Perry Barr

Ah right, I had a feeling they might have been in that area. I lived in Perry Barr and I went to St John's Brownies so I know Church Road quite well but I can't quite picture the prefabs. Hopefully it might be possible for someone to find you a photo!

Prefab in Church Road Perry Barr

I can't recollect any prefabs either - would they have been near the flats in Perry Villa Drive? Not sure when they were built but maybe in the 60s?
