Balsall Heath.

Thank you mikejee. I remember my Nan talking about "the baltic" now. Was I wrong about the Clements Arms? That could possibly have been much earlier.
I can find no mention, but do not have all years Kellys, so cannot defmitely say they were not there
 
The 1886 map has a lamp post on the corner by the church, so would suggest that the second photo is the earliest
