Pardoe Family - Ward End Birmingham

There are about 3 books here which make mention of Tommy Pardoe:

Or search for Google Books & then type in the name you are interested in.
Hi, Winnifred and Arthur Pardoe are my Grandparents, although I never met my Grandfather. They had 4 children, George, Eileen, Patricia and Colin. The house was where a church is built now near wallbank , ward end. I met Tommy's sister a few times when I was a lot younger. Unsure of her right name, we called her Auntie Nin. The families land was victim to compulsory purchase during the world wars. Originally a sand quarry, then used as a landfill, and is now Bromford park. Sadly my Father Colin Pardoe is unwell and I am unable to confirm and correct the information, names and dates etc. Willing for him to recover from aphasia and other issues. Thanks to all who have shared with everyone any knowledge they have. It's a comfort in our time of concern and upset. Thank you all!

Hi Darkustwo

Welcome to Birmingham History Forum. I am sorry to hear about your dad; I know him and have worked with him in the days at the local authority. He’s a good guy who was a spitting image of my granddad too. We would say you could tell he was a Pardoe by his looks. We lost touch many years ago and have often wonders how he was doing. I also knew you mom too, how is she?
