Hi, could you tell me what year this map is from please and where I can find it?

As has been said, the site that that map came from is not now available, but a similar map is available at https://maps.nls.uk/view/210969620 and that is 1954

Aerial view of Brearley Street showing 9-15 but frontages rather obscured.

That is great, thank you. I have contacted Firmin and Sons who occupy the site today and they have informed me they build the current factory in 1969, around the time we moved to Waverley Road in Small Heath.

hi folks i am starting this new thread for member CPDR (chris) who has recently taken over the over site and has just undercovered an old underground air raid shelter...i will copy and paste his posts and some photos he has taken and he has said he will try and get some better photos tomorrow...what a find chris..i would be tempted to save some of the things you have found because this is real history...

I have just looked through all the threads here relating to Brearley Street. My wife’s great grandfather according to the 1861 census lived at Court 14 House 3 Brearley Street. I may have missed it but is there a photo of this court or a map showing where it was. Thanks in anticipation .
