Nechells Peter Donnelly Picture

Stumbled across this image today on social media and tried playing my own mini version of GeoGuesser. But I cannot figure out where this picture would have been taken.

Image Link (not posting directly to thread because of potential copyright issues)

Photographer is Peter Donnelly. Caption on printed version is "Nechells, Birmingham Circa 1964"

The best possibility I could find was "The Albion" at Aston (see the cylindrical structures in the background, as well as street lamp in the StreetView image).
But the corner building facade does not match the 1964 photo. Neither does this 1958 version I found.

I think the structure in the background left was one of the two very large gas holders gas holders in Nechells, near to where Cosco and Star City is now. They were pull down quite some time back. The gas holders your showing looking down Whitehouse St are a set of three at Windsor St gasworks.

I am thinking it’s taken in the vicinity of Chattaway Street and Long acre

@Morturn thanks for the info. Looked around that area and even got a little closer didn't see any structures resembling that building (unless they changed them)

I browsed around that area a bit more, and found some sat images from 1945. I'm thinking this building may have been on Mount Street, and basically everything in the picture has been torn town and replaced. In the photo, I see a tower-like structure behind the cylinders, and I think the faint structure behind the tower is the gas holders.

The next-clearest sat image I can get is from '99 and the smaller cylinders and tower are gone.
