Bath Row Ladywood

There would have been some differences, in particular it would not have been so built-up. Do not have a large scale map of Bath row , but below is one showing Bath Row labelled 1851, which shows that there were less buildings.

Many thanks! This is great! Would the blue have been the canal? There are lots of excellent details of the surrounding area, very helpful indeed.

Mike I wonder can you explain what that name is between Five Ways and Broad St it looks like Inglington to me , not to be confused with Islington Row .

It is just Islington. That part of Broad st from Five ways to Gas St was then called that

I take it you mean 1950s. Map below pub 1952, probably surveyed about 1950, with 40 in red

I was born just on the edge... Number 24 Bath Row in 1956. I've never seen a picture of the house.

hi mrsloyan have you tried looking at the cregoe street thread because looking at mikes map if there is a photo looking down cregoe st it may just show your no 24 bath row as it was only 3 houses down from the corner with cregoe

Hi, does anyone have a map or photos showing 112 Bath Row? Or can someone point out which building might be 112 on the photos added as I can see 106 but can't make out others or work out which building it might be! The photo's are brilliant; 112 is where my Great Grandad lived in 1891 as a teenager after moving round the corner from Blucher Street!
