This newspaper article (undated) was sent to me by a member of the Trigg family, who now lives in Vermont. The remarkable, long service by members of the Trigg family with the Midland Red must surely be a record. I would be very interested to discover if anyone has any more information about the date of the photograph, which publication it comes from and when the Midland Red Pershore Road route was established. How it was done - all of the post-war single deckers in existence so far were rebuilt with an extension to the rearmost bay of the body (and bolt-on rear chassis extensions) and seat spacings adjusted to fit an extra row of seats.

As an ex-driver from Sutton Garage, in the seventies, I went along on Sunday, and had a really great day out for £12. A lovely long ride on a BMMO bus as well. Oh, and I met a fellow voice man, Alan Deddicote the voice of Strictly/The Lottery and WWTBA Millionaire. Thanks Wythall.
