    Can anyone help me out I have a vague memory... 1959-64 biscuits sold in my school (St Lawrence Northfield) for 1d ... jammy dodgers and a round chocolate biscuit with a centre hole... In a square yellow tin with and elephant on?? What where the chocolate biscuits called???

    I don't remember the shop in Selly Oak but the Bell Stores in Northfield (corner of Bell Lane and Bristol Road opposite Huins Shoes) used to sell off the broken biscuits and all sorts of childrens sweets. I used to go there 1959-64.
