On the 1911 census it is referred to as part of the parish of St. James' (Mere Green) but obviously covers a large area.
There is a Thomas Baker aged 17 at Four Oaks Common Road.

Recent view from Saltley Road (Nechells Parkway), the old brewery on Cato Street North looks in a sorry state and they'll soon have an excuse to demolish and replaced with an industrial unit. Gas holders on Nechells Place long gone.
