    Washwood Heath Preparatory School?

Hi 91880, is it possible to post an image of the reverse? I have found this (4, Ellesmere Road and I thought initially that it may have been the school but I don't think so now.

Allison Street former factory for Corder & Turley umbrellas, Forcett Bros clothing and RTP Crisps

Apparently there are 50 apartments at No.78 (The Brolly Works) so perhaps it is apartment No. 12. The building underwent conversion around 2007. https://www.192.com/places/b/b5-5/b5-5th/

    OLD AND NEW PHOTOGRAPHS

It's still there Steve and mounted on an original part of the brickwork in that area, but certainly not in the position of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's house

    Garbett street.

Aerial view of Garbett Street 1937 (not good quality), doesn't seem to match the map very well so I assume some houses were lost to bombing or demolition. I think No. 24 is the one arrowed.

    Garbett street.

The 1871 and 1921 census has the Old Robin Hood at 102 Garbett Street, corner of Summer Hill Road.

    Garbett street.

A map from 1950s, unfortunately I don't think any of the photos show No. 24 but I will look to see if there is an aerial view. Photo 3 is taken looking towards Shakespeare Road from Garbett Street.
