    Stockfield road

    I can remember shops opposite Waterloo Road in the 1970s, Wing Fat a Chinese takeaway (Their Chips alone reflected the shop name!) and a second hand shop, used to get 7" (used) vinyl singles for 10p each, were around 50p New at the time (Record shop on Church Rd)

    I left Redhill in 1972, during my time there Mrs Leek was the Head and one my Teacher’s was Mr Brockhurst. Class mates included Ralph Chapman, Billy Cunningham, Paul Cookson, Paul Smith. Richard Hancock. Footnote: The Actor Kevin McNally went to Redhill for a while. (Before my time)

    RIP OZZY OSBOURNE

    Ozzy's Book is Out Now. " Last Rites ". Birmingham gets quite a few mentions (As expected) and covers upto and after the Villa Park Concert. The book is both humorous and sad.
