  • HI folks the server that hosts the site completely died including the Hdd's and backups.
    Luckily i create an offsite backup once a week! this has now been restored so we have lost a few days posts.
    im still fixing things at the moment so bear with me and im still working on all images 90% are fine the others im working on now
    we are now using a backup solution

Hi there

Here are 2 pictures of my father from around 1945. Is any military expert able to tell me what the insignia(?) on his uniform is from? I realise this is a long shot but thought I'd give it a try.:)

I do have his campaign medals but would love to know what regiment he served with. I have also attached his medal card.

Suzanne, If you have his medal card his Corps or Regiment should be on it if not, contact THE VETERANS AGENCY UK in google, there is a freephone number, they are very helpful. Len.
