I have Wittons somewhere in my family, who came from Aston.

Haven't done much research but I believe my great grandmothers sister married into the Witton family.

My mother used to say she had a relative called Mrs Witton who lived in Witton Rd, Witton.

Do you have any names, dates etc.

Fay

In 1920 there are two lots of Wittons living in Aston of voting age..

Hi to all who replied,
In my tree I have my grandfather Albert b 1900
his parents James and Laura nee Sanders b 1866/68 respectively
Going on down the line:
Charles b1841 ,who married Mary Ann Moore
James b c1816, who married Susanna Webb
In 1841/51 census the family are transcribed as Wilton not Witton
and living in parish of St George and then St Martin.
Addresses after that were ?Proctor St in 1861, Gt Francis St in 1871 ( transcribed as Wetton )
Summer Lane 1891 and Asylum Rd in 1901.
Apart from census info I have no other details.
Hope to hear from anyone with additional info.
