Could someone tell me if there are any records available for WW1 RAF records??
I am looking for Ernest Lane of Cherry Tree Road Bordesley Green. His no. was 205335 2AM raf.
Thank you.
I should imagine Air Ministry may be able to help, although the RAF wasn't formed until 1918, it was the RFC (Royal Flying Corp) during WW1. Another body who may be able to help is the RAF Association. Eric (RAF 1948 - 56)
Type RAF records into your search engine and find info about records, different records are in different places , I think the records for WW1 are at the National Archives at Kew London
