This trolleybus appears to be one of the first of a batch of Birmingham's trolleybuses received in the last three months of 1922. Numbered 1 - 12 OK 4823 - OK 4834; they ran for around ten years before withdrawal on the 7 Nechells route.
The photo shows a bus after its first major overhaul when it got a repaint in the more familiar BCT style. The original paint scheme had more cream on the lower panels. They ran on solid tyres all their lives!!
