I cant remember most of these, mind you I was only 12 ...I guess I was
doing a far better thing..I was out playing.

Past TV programmes

I vaguely recall some of those programmes too

What I really recal, is actually going to see a wrestling event in West Bromwich I think? - and it was Catweasle..............but wrestling was an obligatory tv programme to watch in our house

T.V...

:D Gosh what a list, but I remember all except Hi-T! .... with Noele Gordon...
There was always someone in our house watching T.V.
Now this is good! according to this, by the end of the Century we'll
driving in cars that steer themselves and which do not use petrol
Heard some guy on telly say this can be done but there is no profet in it for big bussiness.
We'll be using Cookers that use no heat.
Not sure on that one.
We'll sleep on beds made out of air,
We have one of those, never used much though as it takes ages to blow it up, even with a pump.
Our houses will be Solar powered
There are houses here in New Zealand that are fully Solar powered.
And our houses will be cleaned by Robots..(Hmm..I'll just put some new batteries up my wifes bum..)
Watch it Kandy if Roz reads this she may just give you a boot up yours

Pom :)

TV was as bad then as it is now. We all say it's gone down hill, but really you had to pick out the good bits as you do now. It was all so new then and we were a bit beguiled by it I guess.

Can't beat the radio can you .

I don't have that problem John, nothing but a cup of coffee placed on my bedside table wakes me.

WRONG ANSWER?..HAVE A CABBAGE.

What about 'DOUBLE OR DROP' with Ammon? Andrews, kids had to stand there ages holding a load of stuff, if they got a answer wrong they also had to hold a cabbage. If they tried that these days some do gooder would have it stopped saying its cruel to children.

If a kid dropped something he/she had to walk off in shame.
