Where are the men who fought in
The War to end all wars.
Our brave warriors who gave their
Lives at Gollipili, Burma, Malaya,
Korea, Vietnam, and all other
Senseless conflicts.
Ah yes, there they are, can you
See them as they march beside those
Who have yet to give their lives in
Some foreign land, fighting for some
Cause they do not understand.
But,
I see no parade for the brave
Aborigine who fought for his
Freedom on his own soil.
I see no parade for fathers nor
Mothers, who sacrificed all
They had for the sake of their
Family.
Is war only glorious?
