Is there anyone who remembers the GPO Hurst Street depot of the old Green Fleet and Red Fleet vehicles, they certainly had some gems there up until the mid-sixties.

I worked there after my demob in 1961 and drove an old 1950 Seddon in Red Fleet livery which was one of the younger vehicles in the fleet.

Every Monday morning practically the whole lot of us woud set off for Penistone moor, north of Sheffield, to be loaded with ducting from Hepworths works for delivery all over our operating area.

Here's an image of mine of one of their Fodens.
