Dear All,
I have a large wall clock with the dial showing The Globe Clock Co, Birmingham. Does anyone have any info please??

I found the following info on an Antiques Roadshow Archive site.
"LaPorte Hubbell worked in the 1870s, 1880s, and was really well known for making balance-wheel mechanisms, and actually started a clock company called the Globe Clock Company of Millville, Connecticut. LaPorte Hubbell's Globe Clock Company was founded in 1877, and he died in 1889."

The Globe Clock co was at 32 Hall st in 1904, 45 Branston St in 1912. No sign of them in 1896 or 1921.
