The Factory in Gas Street late 60’s

My regular Saturday night place following an evening in the Alhambra or Top Ten Bar
Hello Sue. I did similar to you but usually on a Sat finding my way late to Gas Street after gigs as I was a pro drummer. We most likely saw each other on the dance floor. For me it was the best place in town and I saw some fabulous bands there: Elmer Gantry, Free, Trapeze, Blonde on Blonde, the Gun. I could go on. I'm sure you saw the same. I was gutted when it closed moving on to Barbarella's in due course but for me the Factory was as good as it got, just right, full of cool sorts and beautiful women in velvets and silks. PS, where was the Top Ten Bar?
