  • HI folks the server that hosts the site completely died including the Hdd's and backups.
    Luckily i create an offsite backup once a week! this has now been restored so we have lost a few days posts.
    im still fixing things at the moment so bear with me and im still working on all images 90% are fine the others im working on now
    we are now using a backup solution

Does anyone know of the Stringer family who lived in 12 Larches St in the 1910's. They had 8 children

Mary age 42 b Wexford
Florence 17 b Athlone Ireland
Frederick 16 b India
Frances 14 b India
John 12 b India
Edwin 19 b Preston Lancs

Albert 4 b Aldershot
Charles 2 b Aston
John Stringer married Mary Doyle on 12 Sept 1892 St Marys (Pro Cathedral) Dublin
her address 21 hill street Dublin, his address Athlone, strangely he put his mother as Jane Finlay on his wedding certificate but she married his father John Stringer in 1856 before he was born.
On the 1901 census in Lancs there is a Kate Doyle age 20 b Ireland sister in law living with them, her name is transcribed as Dagle but is Doyle on original.
John Stringer died on 27th Dec 1932 Address 12 Larches Street.
Mary Stringer died on 2nd Oct 1944 her address 37 Newlands Road Stirchley
