Here a photo of a tram running down Steelhouse Lane it will travel past the fire station at Lancaster Circus to Erdington Terminus at Sutton New Road.

Remember it well Moma P. We used to take the No.2 if Mom couldn't find what she wanted in the shops in Town and we would have to go to
Erdington for a look around there. The 78 tram to Stockland Green was our usual run.
The 3-in-one Oil company must have spent a lot on advertising back in the l940s and 50s and Typhoo Tea Company as well.
