Would SKS with access to Kelly's around the mid 1930s to 1940 please be kind enough to look for a fish and chip shop run by
Thomas and Leah (aka Rose) STANLEY in Summer Lane please.

It would be greatly appreciated.

Ta, Dibs

Hi Dib44

Could not find them in Summer lane, but in Kelly's 1939, a Rose Stanley owned a fried fish shop at 40 Coplow Street B16.

Greatly appreciated, must be one and the same methinks.
Coplow Street is in Ladywood ! ! ! but I was told they sold up in Summer Lane just before the outbreak of war so it is possible they moved over to Ladywood in 39.

Kind regards.

Dibs.
