St James's Church, Handsworth

Christine in Herts

proper brummie kid
I've just spotted a baptism (at St James's Church, Handsworth) in the LDS transcription (batch C01173-3) and which I think could be that of my paternal grandfather. Is there any easy way to get hold of an image of the relevant record?... or do I actually have to go and do something about it myself, like going to a local FHC? I'm obviously getting lazy - there's just so much that's available on the web, but I am quite mobile enough to do that if necessary... I suppose I could argue that it's greener not to have to travel to get the records I'd like.

I do not want to encourage anyone to breach any terms and conditions to which they have subscribed, but if someone give me any useful suggestions, I'd be grateful.

Thanks
Christine
