Does anybody know where the parish records are held for this church?
I looked at the birmingham central libary and could not find them.

According to a record I have St Agatha's records are in the Central Library. The reference is BRL DRO 43.You can email the library and double check before you go.

The records start in 1901 when the church was built.

Good Luck:)

Hi

Many thanks,I did ask them on the desk at the libary last saturday but they did not know, if they had or not, which I found very unusual as every time I have been there you could not ask for better service.
Are the records the originals or are the transcribed ones?

Somebody must have had a bad day, not like the staff in the library is it.

I don't think you can see any of the original Parish Registers, they were all put onto film, so you are seeing a copy of the original.
