Have you heard a rainbow play a heavenly tune.
Have you heard a sunbeam rest on summers bloom.
Have you heard a snowflake fall upon the ground.
Have you heard a daffodil trump in joyful round.
Have you heard the mist rise above the silent lake.
Have you heard the tears fall at a loved ones wake.
Have you heard the voices of the silent wood.
Have you heard the air pass close to where you stood.
If we have not heard these things our ears a deaf to sound.
If we have not heard these things our souls are earthly bound.
Let fly our souls to the distant sounds we all are meant to hear
With heart and soul and might and mind and listen with inner ear.
