So Sad

My dear wife, god bless her cotton socks is having a clear out of clutter because we are having the decorater in. She asked if wanted a newspaper cutting saved or should she throw it away. I have no idea what paper it came out of but it would have been The Birmingham Mail, The People or The News Of The World. I is a song from the war years and this cutting, because of the rference to Maggie Thatcher must be from years later when we invaded The Falkland Islands. I wonder how many will remember this.

Say a prayer for
the boys over there
And tomorrows skies
will be brighter.
Bless them all as they
valiently fight
And let your faith be
their guiding ster tonight.
Kneel and pray, and
there'll soon come a day
When the hearts of our
men will be lighter.
Till the sound of
freedom fills the air
Say a prayer for the
boys over their.
