I am trying to find where my husbands uncle's factory was in Birmingham, we think around the 1950's/60's. His name was William Smith. We are not sure if he made guns or the components to make guns. I would appriciate any help. Moma P

Hi Moma P, Is that all the info you have on William Smith ? I've looked in the 1956 Kelly's Directory but couldn't find anything to help.
Cheers Carl.

Hi Colin, Thank you for that. The Edwin Smith son Albert Smith looks like it could be the one I think I may have had a senior moment (I know thats hard to believe), but I now remember uncle Albert he came to visit us with Michael's parents in the early 70's and we had to get our best tea service out. He was lovely old gent he was in his 80's then. I don't think I have used that tea sevice since! Wendy.:)
