Shoe Repair

I've been having a "clear-out" and I found my box of shoe-mending things! There are segs, round rubber heels, toe-tips, heel-tips, side-pieces, stick-on-soles and a scraper for keying the surface for the glue.
Trouble is that none of my shoes now will take any of these. I will keep them "just in case", you never know.
rosie.

Slightly off topic but, during the really cold winters of the early 1960’s we used to sprinkle Colman’s mustard powder into our boots and shoes, to keep our feet warm. It could make a mess of yer socks, but it did work!
