Rednal postcard

Cassy

knowlegable brummie
Hi I found this postcard amongst my father's belongings after he died - he loved Rubery, Rednal and the Lickey Hills. I wonder if anyone knows where the train ride was in Rednal? Thanks

Can't help with the land train location, but it looks very much like coco the clown as a passenger. The street scene is the end of Rose Hill with what was "The Chalet" pub in the background

I remember the Rednal and Lickey's, when it was as rural as this, as poor working class Brummie's we spent a lot of our leisure time there in summer during the 50's, as we had no going away holidays.Paul
