Rednal Library

Snuck out for a quick training ride this afternoon. I like cycling up Beacon Hill so I thought I would combine a look at the former library at Rednal. Erected in 1909 to the designs of Benjamin Bower, this is a lovely compact arts and crafts building. I wonder how much the window cleaner charges?

I used to live at 120/1 Leach Green Lane, just down from the Library. Thanks for posting this photo it's brought back some happy memories. It's thanks to the staff there that I came to love reading and books.
