Hi all, my late brother Ronald Jones recently passed away in Australia, he worked at Rabones in Hockley in the mid 50s, he was a fitter/maintenance guy, he had lived in Australia for 52yrs but would always remain a proud Brummie, very often he would remark about his job at Rabones, and the people he worked with and met, we lived with our Gran Jones, who had a fish and chip shop in Park Rd Hockley, a lot of people from Rabones and other factories came to Grans to order their food, Ron would comment about how happy people seemed to be back in the day, maybe they were just glad to have survived the war, good old days/maybe. Regards to all, Ted.

Hi Eddy. Sorry to hear about your brother. If you use the Search box and type in "Rabones rulers" you will find 42 posts in a thread on this subject. Best wishes. Dave.
