  • HI folks the server that hosts the site completely died including the Hdd's and backups.
    Luckily i create an offsite backup once a week! this has now been restored so we have lost a few days posts.
    im still fixing things at the moment so bear with me and im still working on all images 90% are fine the others im working on now
    we are now using a backup solution

Anyone have any pictures or info re Covered Wagon Sunday morning football team from early 80’s...
 
As in Covered Wagon Yardley Wood Road? That would be when Reg and Peg Boon ran the pub! I will ask my husband later as he used to work there.
 
My husband Paul who worked there on and off from the early 70s to about 2010. He remembers the team playing in the 80 but has no photos. Names he can recall are Dave Chann (who he thinks acted as linesman), Duncan who worked at Meteor Ford and Lance. He will have another think and see if he can remember any more.
 
Hi yeah I think it was Vance! Mickey Flaherty... Alan Mcdaide... Frank Duane, Tony Crosby are a few I can remember the Williams brothers any idea what happened to them all?
