I think this site has been running for 18 months/two years or so, an Oxford University project. There is a wealth of stuff in it and it's a good site for browsing.
Can't remember now how it came about but I submitted a chunk of mine in it when it started up. RFC/RAF but regrettably with no Brum connection: https://www.oucs.ox.ac.uk/ww1lit/gwa/document/9065

A great mutimedia site - with great poetry, photos, audio and video - that I had not come across before, so thank you for sharing it. Some strange ommissions such as W.B. Yeats' "An Irish Airman Foresees His Death" of 1918 which I have always found particularly moving - It was read in a well-judged but abridged version in the film "Memphis Bell): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h_PvCToBCRc
I hope it gets extended to WWII. My favourite of that period would be Henry Reed's (born in Birmingham and educated at King Edward VI School, Aston, followed by the University of Birmingham) Lessons of The War, better known as "Naming of Parts" (a personal favourite) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5QW4LFzQrZ8
Poetry is not much mentioned these days but sometimes it really captures the zeitgeist as much if not more than other media.
