  • HI folks the server that hosts the site completely died including the Hdd's and backups.
    Luckily i create an offsite backup once a week! this has now been restored so we have lost a few days posts.
    im still fixing things at the moment so bear with me and im still working on all images 90% are fine the others im working on now
    we are now using a backup solution

not usually the type of pic i post but for those who lived around there you can just see a couple of the old houses dotted here and there....the shot is cutting though gt lister street..

hi ernie..yes i can see it would be difficult to pinpoint the extaction position on this one...there does look to be a large building to the left of the far block of flats but it looks to far away to know what it was....

I think you will find the photo was taken from the corner of what used to be Great Lister St and Rupert St. If you look up the Parkway the building in the middle of the photo the one with the five chimneys it's the Dog and Partridge on what was Ashted Row. The parkway passes by just before it connects with the Lawley St - Dartmouth St traffic island.
