Medlicott

Hi,

Im just wondering if anyone else is looking for Medlicott Family living in the Balsall Heath, Birmingham area.

I know that my GG Granddad Philip Henry Medlicott born in the back to backs of Benacre Street in 1869 to William and Amelia Medlicott. Philip Had several brothers and sisters (3 of which ended up in Canada after being sent to the Middlemore Childrens Home.)

In the late 1890's early 1900 Philip Henry Medlicott moved to Kings Heath and had 8 children with this wife Eliza.

If this means anything to anyone researching their own tree, please get in touch.

Thank you for the link Leslam.

Its all very interesting information. A actually saw this grave on one of the Birmingham city centre ghost tours (which is an excellent night out, to anyone wants to know more about the darker side of Birmingham's history) and have been quite intregued by it ever since, so thanks for shedding some light on it.

Nikki.
