Kings Heath Firemen.jpg
Hi all, I came across this image on my pc, that Iknow is of men from Kings Heath Fire Station, because I had the priginal picture but gave it to the Fire Service Archive collection some time ago. I also know there is a year given on the plaque fixed to the front of the `engine` on the left, I cannot seem to get close enough to decipher it now. Unfortunately, I don`t know who the two men are either, but the image was in my fathers posessions, so I`m assuming there is some kind of connection, but I have been unable to find it. The station used to be in Silver Street, about half way between Higbury Road and the High Street - I remember it well from when I was a nipper. Happy times!!! Cheers, cresser.
