Hulse family

knowlegable brummie
Can anyone please tell me where I can find information on births, before 1800?
My GGGGF ( James Hulse ) was born in 1786, but I don't find any info on him apart from who his wife was (Elizabeth) and where he was married (Walsall). I'm trying to find out who his parents were?
Thanks a lot
Nigel

If it is him, he was baptised 12 Feb 1786 in Wybunbury, Cheshire. Fathers name William Hulse.

This info is from the Latter Day Saints site, and sometimes has to be taken with caution.

Barrie.
