Samuel Hudson was born in Coleshill in 1764, from notes he left in a journal it appears he was an apprentice Silver Chaser in Birmingham about 1778 after this he said he worked and lodged with John Rose at Thimble Mill, Nechells until 1789 when he moved to London. I am endeavouring to find out more about his time in Birmingham.
