  • HI folks the server that hosts the site completely died including the Hdd's and backups.
    Luckily i create an offsite backup once a week! this has now been restored so we have lost a few days posts.
    im still fixing things at the moment so bear with me and im still working on all images 90% are fine the others im working on now
    we are now using a backup solution

Anybody remember Howe Motors Austin dealer situated opposite Caves the Furnishers at the top of Monument Road by the Ivy Bush. I worked there during the late 50's then from 1962 after National Service. Then garage was run by Major rtd RAF Len Howe. a very smartly dressed man and the foreman was Mr Les Turner from Victoria Road Harborne, he was a wonderful man who ran a local band. I had some wonderful years working there with some great mates. Happy Times.
I drove past a few months ago and the place is a bomb site. :upset:
