Re: dwelling at 60 Bourneville Lane, Stirchley, Birmingham....
Does anyone know how I would find out the ownership history of this dwelling, particularly in 1911 and in decade before/after the 1911 census?

Hi Surante:)Don't know how you would find out ..but it is up for sale at the moment ..that is how Tom took the pics:):)

now that is odd lloyd any logical reason why ?:)

Even I can't work out how odd it is.

However...checking the electoral rolls,
in 1912 60 Bournville Lane (note spelling) was occupied by Edwin Bird (who also seemed to own no 52, occupied by James Fryer).
In 1920 Edwin Bird, Annie Mary Bird, and Benjamin Jones.
In 1925 Hubert Noke and Theodora Frances Mary Noke were there.
In 1930 just Theodora Frances Mary Noke
In 1935 William John Livings, Lucinda Livings, Arthur William Livings and Francis James Livings were there.
In 1939 William John Livings, Lucinda Livings and Alice Shelton
In 1945 Charles J Buck, Lucinda Livings and Mildred G Ducker are listed.

Now with the correct spelling, 1911 census gives for no 60:
Geneva Jones (married, but no husband present) aged 56
May Jones and Lily Jones, daughters, both aged 26 (twins?) Lily is a 'Chocolate Coverer', presumably at Cadburys.
Elsie Jones, another daughter, aged 20, a Clerk.
All born in "Warick, Birmingham"!

How's that?

Re: no husband present

I have a copy of 1911 census and yes there is no Jeremiah....
He must have been out for his Sunday morning constitutional.....?
Something that kind of runs in this family
