GONE BUT NOT FORGOTTEN R.I.P.
Whatever one believes about the after life looking at the 4 seasons nothing is wasted what dies goes back into ground to replenish the earth. And in spring the tree re produces a leaf identical to what it once was. This poem as been co-written by Beryl McMullen and John Houghton as a hands across the sea project, Canada/England
Seasons of Life
Spring,
Spring in to life like a new born
Spring is the beginning before the storm
Spring is the learning and watching things grow
Spring is for experience with thoughts to sow
Summer,
Summer is for getting out and about
Summer is the sun to warm your soul
Summer the time to travel and find your way
Summer is the time to have your say
Autumn,
Autumn time to take stock as things slow down
Autumn is not the time to wear that frown
Autumn is the time to prepare for the last season
Autumn for what is coming there must be a reason
Winter,
Winter is life fading in to the darkness
Winter is the hibernating of the soul
Winter is the body‘s heat turning cold
Winter is the time for them that are old
Winter is the old as we fade with the setting sun
The seasons of man have come and gone
I hope you can remember this particular one
