  • HI folks the server that hosts the site completely died including the Hdd's and backups.
    Luckily i create an offsite backup once a week! this has now been restored so we have lost a few days posts.
    im still fixing things at the moment so bear with me and im still working on all images 90% are fine the others im working on now
    we are now using a backup solution

Seeking more information for the Fisher Family
John Fisher b1799 married to Ann ? b1799 lived at 55 Walsall Road B'Ham in 1841had Six children -
Mary 1826, Joseph 1829, Thomas 1831, Eliza 1832, Emma 1835, Edwin 1840.
In the 1851 census the family are living at Potters Lane, Aston. In the 1861 and 1871 census John still lives in Potters Lane alone (but has a servant girl).
Youngest son Edwin marries Ann M (possibly Mallin?) b1842 and begin married life in Franshire? Street, Handsworth. In the 1881 census they are living at 93 Gower Road, Aston. In the 1891 census they are at 132 Princip? Street (Coachsmiths Arms) B'Ham. They had seven children -
Edwin 1864, Arthur 1865, Thomas 1868, Alice 1871, Clara 1873, Amy E 1875, Annie E 1876.
Second son Arthur married Ellen Gibbins 1872, in the 1901 census they live at 10 Norwood Road, Aston. They had ten children -
George H (known as Henry)1888, Arthur 1890, Mary Ann (Nance) 1893 (my grandmother), Ellen (Nell) 1896, Lucy (Louie)1898, Thomas 1900, Dennis 1901, Violet 1902, Phillip 1910, Herbert 1912
