This is quite a long shot, but I wonder if someone could do a look up for me for John Dickins, born around 1772-3? He was shown as "of St Martin's Birmingham" on his marriage certificate in 1811, although he seems to have been living close to St John's Deritend by then.
It is possible that the name Baggaley is connected to the family somehow. As far as I know, his father is also John Dickins or Dickens (they seem to use the spellings intercheangeably).
