My uncle said he had received a British Red Cross Medal for saving a girl from downing in a canal. Is there ayway this could be checked out to see if it was true. Thanks
 
I presume this happened in Birmingham have you tried asking the local Red Cross.
 
I have had a look online, but all the info they have seems to be for the armed services. I will try and contact local Red Cross and see if they can help. Many thanks Carol
