HI folks the server that hosts the site completely died including the Hdd's and backups.
Luckily i create an offsite backup once a week! this has now been restored so we have lost a few days posts.
im still fixing things at the moment so bear with me and im still working on all images 90% are fine the others im working on now
we are now using a backup solution

Thanks Les it is a fantastic website and thanks for sharing. Mossg passed a clip on to me about a family at the bottom of our road. I was able to contact one of them and she didn't know it existed.
Also for those who havent already, I advise you to check this site out...https://www.lostcousins.com/. It is run by a Peter calver and although I have never subscribed to the site I signed up for his newsletter. He sends two emails a month with a wealth of information on geneaology. From whats records are new to various sites to obtaining discount to these sites.
That Pathe site is such a fantastic resource! It's great that such an archive is so easily accessible. I can't get enough of watching old newsreel footage but I've never seen it all in one place like this.
