Belchers Lane playing fields ans Heartlands Hospital

I have just spoken to a nurse who works at Heartlands and she said that the playing fields are being kept as playing fields for use by a local school or schools. Heartlands are to extend their extortion empire by building a multi story car park in Yardley Green Road, work has just begun she said .

If my memory is correct, the changing rooms were on the right at the top of the entrance path.
The boys used the changing room on the right, the girls used the left side.

From memory, this is how I remember the lay-out of Belchers Lane playing fields.
