ASTON BROOK TAVERN
Does anyone have any information or photos of this pub?
My father lived there as a young boy when it was no longer a pub. He told me that all the woodwork for the bar etc was still there. The windows on the doors still had the name etched on and at that time still looked like a pub.Several families were sharing this building and my fathers family had 2 rooms downstairs including the bar.
We (Dad and I) discovered this photo by chance amongst my many Bham photos, and Dad said straight away that it was the pub in question.
I do have some information from the census when someone called Jarrett was the Landlord. I would Thomas St Powell St.JPGlove to know more
regards
Amanda
