9/11 has come and gone once more here's my bit on the sad event
September 11 Tribute
It should never happen that terror reigns at all, or buildings have to crumble amid screams, and smoke or pall. I watched in abject horror, my tears were falling fast, as people, decent people waited, no choices, about to breath their last
No choice, to beat the fires, or the dust that covered all, but to leap and end it quickly, before the buildings horror fall. So saddened, shocked and angry, that on a working day, so many innocent, lost their lives, to terrorists' planned foul play
What of the hostage passengers, no chance to get away, cell call phoned to say goodbye, to family, loved ones one and all. It must not ever happen, terror will never reign supreme, for the world has changed forever, awakened from a dream
Heroes and magicians, rescue workers bold, and when the dust has settled, their stories will be told. Of courage under pressure, they will never sleep, until they've listened at every chance, for a voice, a cry, a peep
New York, will be there tomorrow, aghast at what befell, but stronger, now united, they ring in the terrorists, death knell
