787 Boeing Dreamliner

I think the new Boeing will give the Airbus a run for its money, here she is recently heading for the
Rolls/Royce factory, Bernard

I hope all European Air Lines stay with Air Bus to save European jobs - although Rolls Royce supply both companies with engines so they win either way. My 3 favourie commercial a/c was (a) the first commercial Jet, the Comet 1 in the 1950's )saw that on its tropical trials in Nairobi 1950) (b) the first supersonic commercial jet, the beautiful Concorde and (c) the more recent doubledecker Airbus A380. Where do we start about the Dreamliner?

By now, the problems have been well publicised. Perhaps the practices at Boeing for the 737MAX8 were inherent with the B787. Every airline chooses its own interior fittings but some are showing signs of wear already. Perhaps it's the numbers of bums on seats that's making the TUI ones look tatty.

Personally, I like Airbus. Know it's girly but looks nicer and the A380, wow! Another iconic aircraft that hasn't been utilised properly by some of its operators. Even US carriers have moved away from Boeing, much to their disgust.

My top 3 are A380, Concorde and VC10.
